In Hermosa Beach, Shoreline Speech & Language Center is a therapist-owned pediatric speech and language clinic. It begins with brief, informal screenings to observe children and determine whether a formal evaluation may be needed. Before therapy, a speech-language pathologist uses formal and informal testing to establish a baseline and identify speech and language needs. Treatment plans are tailored to each child's needs and learning style. Therapy is delivered one-on-one with a therapist or in dyads, with two children and one therapist.
