Grapevine Ceramics

Handmade ceramic gifts are the core offering, including nativities, wind chimes, ornaments and other home decor. The business also sells ceramic bisque through its GrapeVine Bisque Shop and offers gift cards in any denomination, mailed at no charge. Many items are made by Art and Michelle Weigel, who began the business in 1998 after Michelle started making piggy banks. Art joined the production process with his clay work, and the couple creates pieces using vintage molds. The shop also includes Darwin's Caverns. GrapeVine Ceramics and Gifts is located in Hays, Kansas, and sources as many production materials as possible from companies in the United States. Its products are sold through its website and have also been available at craft shows, consignment stores and Etsy.
