About Christmas Shoes
Christmas Shoes provides new tennis shoes to local children, with socks, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a booklet in each gift box. The ministry serves children year-round, including those identified by school counselors, DSS, social workers, children's organizations, and its team as being in need. It also accepts monetary and in-kind donations, offers child sponsorships, and organizes Christmas Shoe Tree sponsorships for businesses and other locations to display. Volunteers help box items, catalog inventory, organize supplies, and make deliveries. Christmas Shoes began in Greer, South Carolina, and provides shoes to children in the local community.
