Totoe Health Equity Project

Located in Golden Valley, Totoe Health Equity Project is a health equity organization providing free wellness programs for underserved communities in Minnesota and Africa. Its services begin with screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and A1C, followed by scheduled check-ins to monitor health indicators and wellness progress. The project also offers complimentary cooking classes covering food selection, meal planning, and nutritious preparation. Stress reduction classes teach breathing practices participants can use at home. Exercise counselors help create routines suited to a gym, home, or outdoor setting, with a six-month plan and a complimentary six-month membership offered through the exercise initiative. These programs focus on health education and monitoring.
