About Angel City Derby
Angel City Derby is a flat track roller derby league. Based in Los Angeles, it is a nonprofit, member-owned and volunteer-run organization founded in 2006. The league competes locally and internationally as a Women's Flat Track Derby Association member. It has five adult teams for skaters aged 18 and older, including travel and regional teams. Newcomers train with the Rising Stars and Rookies before joining a squad, and experienced derby players can seek to transfer. The league welcomes gender-inclusive participation and offers ways to volunteer as well as skate. Its Hollywood Scarlets are the league's all-star team, while the Rocket Queens are its internationally competitive B-team. Angel City Derby also invites people to attend home bouts and offers its space for rent.
