Established in 2001, West Fresno Family Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Southwest Fresno and surrounding communities. The center provides community-based support for children, youth, and families through four areas: economic development, health education, educational advancement, and character and leadership. Services include family support groups, school readiness, health insurance access, chronic disease management, mental health support, workforce development, and housing navigation. Its programs also include academic and experiential learning, enrichment, recreation, and healthy lifestyle activities. The organization serves more than 5,000 individuals annually and offers an intake and assessment program for sickle cell patients. WFFRC also provides volunteer opportunities, accepts donations, and publishes newsletters and annual reports for the community.
