Kentucky Forest Industries

A forestry trade association. The Kentucky Forest Industries Association represents Kentucky's wood products industry, landowners, and forestry interests. Its membership includes landowners, primary and secondary manufacturers, and individual members. KFIA supports sawmill, logging, wood products, and forest management interests while promoting hardwood production and sustainable forest resources. The association works with regulatory agencies and advocates for forestry in state and national legislative processes. Members can access an online buyers guide, industry news, and events such as regional meetings, Master Logger classes, field days, the annual meeting, and the Kentucky Wood Expo. ForestryWorks provides educational programs about careers in the wood products industry. KFIA also supports the Log a Load for Kids initiative, which has donated to Kentucky Children's Hospital with support from members and the state's wood products industry.
