About Santa's Workshop at The Great Place
Santa's Workshop organizes Toy Rucks hosted by military units to gather gifts for the holiday season. The volunteer-led nonprofit supports military children and families through community donations and volunteer efforts. Families can apply for assistance, while volunteers can help with the program and sponsors can contribute. Toy Rucks are one way military units take part. The organization describes its work as bringing holiday support to military children through neighbors helping neighbors. It also shares figures for its 2025 holiday season, including 740 families served, 1,787 children, $80,000 in monetary donations, 520 volunteer hours, and 16 Ruck Marches. Applications open October 5.
