The Garden Players Musical Theater for Kids

A children's theater program. Garden Players offers musical theater classes, along with playwriting and songwriting classes, for new and returning students. No previous acting or singing experience is required. Children take part in developing and performing original musicals, with concerts and shows inspired by Garden Players students and first premiered in Forest Hills. The program also presents live and video-on-demand performances. Schools and theater groups can license published shows to perform. Since 2002, children have had opportunities to participate in the development of original musicals; the company's published works have received more than 2,000 performances in over 65 countries. Garden Players has served the Forest Hills community since 1916.
