Rivic Pathology

An anatomical pathology laboratory. Rivic Pathology provides histology and technical services to hospitals, research laboratories, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices. Its offerings include biopsy grossing and transcription, with contract pathology assistants available for complex grossing work. The lab performs H&E staining on tissue from blocks or unstained slides, and provides overflow support when client labs have staffing shortages or equipment failures. Contracted labor is also available for frozen sections, including Mohs and organ procurement procedures. Technical-only split services cover sample preparation and test processing for routine histology, special stains, and immunohistochemistry, with interpretation handled by the client's pathologists. The business also stores slides and paraffin blocks in a climate-controlled, video-monitored, keypad-secured space and partners on research projects.
