Motorcycle Licensing
Courses support endorsement applications in six states.
Motorcycle licensing and safety training courses help riders build operating skills and qualify for an endorsement. Offerings include the First Ride introduction for people new to motorcycling, the Basic Rider Course, an experienced-rider refresher, and a three-wheel course. Basic courses cover motorcycle operation and safety-oriented mental strategies; licensing courses include a license waiver. Graduates receive an MSF Course Completion Card, and the Massachusetts RMV is notified when a student passes. The nationally recognized curriculum is developed and maintained by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Classes are held at a training site in Westfield, and the business serves riders seeking endorsements in six states, including Massachusetts. Pioneer Valley Rider Training is based in East Longmeadow.
