No-cost grocery
Families select free groceries each week.
Weekly access to a no-cost grocery store lets families choose fresh produce, meat, milk, eggs, and culturally relevant staples. Re:Vision is a community-driven food hub serving Westwood and Southwest Denver, with programs shaped and run by the Latino community. Promotoras, or community health workers, operate the grocery store, tend La Granja urban farm, lead community gardens, and help families navigate health and other resources. The organization grows vegetables for the grocery store and CSA boxes for Denver Health patients experiencing food insecurity. It also offers affordable kitchen space through La Cocina for Latino food entrepreneurs and subsidized rent for Latino-run businesses and nonprofits. Multigenerational education programs address nutrition, mental health, and economic well-being. Re:Vision began its community development work in Westwood in 2007.
