Luther Strings

In Denver, Luther Strings is a shop for bowed string instruments, serving musicians of different ages and experience levels. Its offerings include violins, violas, cellos, and double basses, with instruments available for sale and rent. Rental options include monthly rentals, rent-to-own plans, and short-term rentals. Customers can try instruments and bows through a free trial loan period, test them in the shop, or request a blind demonstration. The shop also provides instrument repairs, restorations, tonal adjustments, education, lessons, and concerts. Its team includes trained string musicians, teachers, performers, and luthiers. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments outside regular hours can be arranged. The business was established in 2018 by Denver native and strings professor Dr. Christopher Luther.
