ARC Thrift Stores

In Denver, ARC Thrift Stores is a thrift retailer with donated goods for shoppers. The stores offer thrift merchandise and gift cards, and shoppers can browse changing color-tag promotions, including weekly 50% off offers and a senior discount on Tuesdays. Furniture pickup is available by request. Donations and store purchases help fund The Arc's chapters in Colorado and New Mexico, which support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. ARC also connects community members with volunteer opportunities and employment. The organization says its work includes expanding employment opportunities for people with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, while supporting environmental efforts through reuse. Its stores have operated since 1968.
