Cafe Momentum

Visitors come for meals at a casual fine dining restaurant, with Thanksgiving catering also offered. The restaurant is part of a nonprofit network that provides industry training and support for justice-involved youth ages 15 to 19. Participants gain restaurant skills alongside life skills, education and employment opportunities. The program connects dining and training with ongoing support for young people rebuilding their lives after involvement with the juvenile justice system. Café Momentum specializes in this youth training and community support model. It is based in Dallas, where visitors can dine and the organization holds events. The restaurant's work combines food service with practical job experience and individualized support for participating youth.
