Gulley Hurst Landfill

Landfill disposal is the core service, with acceptance of approved solid waste from construction, remodeling, repairs, and demolition. Accepted materials include concrete, masonry, soil, rock, wood, roofing materials, metal, trees, brush, and sod. The facility also accepts mobile homes and trailers, plus certain furniture and appliances after required refrigerants have been removed. Loads must be secured with a tarp or tied down, and customers must provide valid identification. Some waste is prohibited, including household and regulated hazardous waste, food waste, liquids, whole tires, and materials containing refrigerants that have not been handled as required. The landfill serves Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.
