About Aloe Tile Works
In Corpus Christi, Aloe Tile Works is a family-owned ceramic art tile company that has made handmade custom tile since 1993. The studio creates architectural tiles for indoor and outdoor settings, along with community and commemorative tiles, tile signs, ornaments, decorative tiles, and games. Designs draw on classic ceramic style, traditional arts and crafts, and contemporary design. Tile making starts with inspiration and a paper design, which may be shaped into a clay master and plaster mold. Artisans form and hand-paint the tiles in slip clay, then fire them with a clear glaze. The work is made in the company's Corpus Christi studio. Custom art tile is the focus.
