A Sikh temple and religious organization. Guru Nanak Religious Society is a nonprofit founded in 1982, with more than 250 members from Central Ohio who follow the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. The gurdwara welcomes visitors for its weekly Sunday program from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sikh worship takes place in the prayer hall, where the Guru Granth Sahib Ji is honored. Community members gather for Langar, a communal meal, after the main services. The gurdwara is open daily and provides head coverings for visitors entering the prayer hall. Located on Business Park Drive in Columbus, the society supports its local gurdwara through donations from its sangat, or congregation.
