Daily conversations
Children can talk with Pip each day for 4-8 minutes.
Bonifier develops Pip, a web-based tool for children to discuss and understand their emotions. Pip is designed especially for children and families affected by chronic illness, and a limited public version is available to other children. Parents or guardians create a family account, then children can use a secure link to talk with Pip each day. Conversations last about four to eight minutes and can take place on a connected mobile device or computer. Pip helps children recognize emotions and learn coping strategies, while giving parents a deeper understanding of their child's emotional health. It is also being developed to provide individualized data that can help clinicians optimize care. Bonifier is based in Columbus.
