Big Brothers Big Sisters

One-to-one mentoring is the core of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio's work. The organization creates and supports mentoring relationships that connect young people with volunteer mentors, with more than 1,000 active matches enrolled in its programming. It serves children, teens, and young adults, including through a Hispanic Mentoring program, and provides match support as relationships develop. Youth can be enrolled in the program, and adults can volunteer as mentors. The organization also shares stories of matches and Big Futures graduates, including young people pursuing college and career goals. Based in Columbus, it works across Central Ohio to support youth development through sustained connections between mentors and young people.
