ARC Industries

Job preparation is one way ARC Industries supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Columbus. The organization also offers adult day services and help with daily living skills, such as learning to cook and building independence. Its programs serve people across ages and abilities, with opportunities to learn, connect with others, and pursue individual goals. Support can include finding a job, developing self-advocacy through Project STIR, or navigating systems and new opportunities with families and partners. ARC Industries describes its approach as person-centered, adapting support to each person's needs and preferences. Its employment-related work includes helping people prepare for jobs and supporting workers in community roles, including maintenance and cafeteria positions. Services are intended to help people participate in work and daily life on their own paths.
