About Mountain Willow Montessori
A private Montessori school. Mountain Willow Montessori is a community micro-school serving a maximum of 41 students ages 12 months to 7 years. Its program uses a modern Montessori approach and nature to support individual learning styles, with a low student-to-guide ratio. Prepared indoor and outdoor environments feature accessible Montessori learning materials on open shelves, while Guides help students care for materials and maintain an orderly space. Daily activities include grace and courtesy, and students are given time to learn and grow at their own pace. The school is educator-founded, managed, and operated. It is on the west side of Colorado Springs, off the Cimarron exit, with views of Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains.
