Voice of the People Uptown Chicago

Affordable housing development, preservation, management, and resident support are central services. Voice of the People Chicago provides permanently affordable homes for more than 700 low-income residents and manages properties intended to remain safe, stable, and well maintained. Resident Opportunity Services connect community members with personalized resources and opportunities related to housing stability, financial security, and well-being. The organization also offers technical assistance and collaborative resources through its Voice Owners Network, supporting affordable housing owners and community partners as they preserve and expand housing. Its work includes advocacy, housing and community development, property management, resident services, community events, and opportunities for residents to engage in local efforts. Voice of the People Chicago serves Uptown and communities citywide.
