About Urban Village Church
Urban Village Church creates Jesus-loving, inclusive communities in Chicago and beyond. It provides in-person worship at locations in Hyde Park and Woodlawn, Ravenswood, River Forest, and Wicker Park, along with an online worship livestream and sermon podcasts. Visitors can connect with pastors over coffee, join small groups, volunteer, and participate in service and justice work. The church welcomes people from many spiritual and religious traditions, including those with no religious experience. Its beliefs center on the gospel of Jesus Christ, Scripture, and meaningful action in the world, with particular attention to people who have been undervalued.
