The Bloomingdale Trail is a 2.7-mile elevated park with a 20-foot-wide multi-use path for walking, jogging and cycling. Visitors can explore native plantings and nature trails, view public art, or attend activities such as an annual 5K run, arts events and science and nature programs. The elevated park passes through Bucktown, Wicker Park, Humboldt Park and Logan Square, with 12 access points along its nearly three miles. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The trail is part of the 606 on Chicago's Northwest Side, running between Ashland and Ridgeway avenues. The Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail serve as community stewards and advocates for the park.
