About Story Lab Chicago
Story Lab Chicago presents live storytelling events featuring new and up-and-coming storytellers. Monthly shows bring a different lineup to an intimate setting, where participants share true personal stories with an audience. Stories can range from hilarious to heartbreaking, reflecting the experiences of friends, neighbors, and fellow Chicagoans. The program also provides classes for people interested in telling their own stories. Shows take place on the third Thursday of each month at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro, with doors opening before the performance. Story Lab Chicago has given more than 950 people opportunities to share personal stories over more than 15 years. The events are hosted by Scott Whitehair and are held in Chicago.
