Still Point Theatre Collective

A Chicago-based theater collective and nonprofit arts organization. Still Point produces original professional plays addressing social justice issues and offers arts outreach programming for marginalized communities. Its outreach serves adults with developmental disabilities, currently and formerly incarcerated women, and senior citizens. The collective also collaborates with artists and communities through theater-making, workshops, and performances. Productions are designed for diverse audiences, with schedules available for upcoming shows. Still Point began in 1993 and celebrated its 30th year in 2023. The organization uses theater to encourage compassion, raise social justice issues, and reduce stigmas associated with incarceration and disability. Funding includes donations, grants, performance and workshop fees, and ticket sales.
