Custom springs and wire forms are the core offerings, including compression, extension, torsion, round wire, and flat wire designs. Sterling Spring also produces metal and fourslide stampings, leaf springs, progressive-die punch press parts, welded products, brake springs, and weld feed liners. Parts can be made from round wire measuring.002 to 1.000 inches and are produced to customer specifications with tight length and angle tolerances. In-house services include spring grinding, centerless grinding, painting, shot peening, and tumble deburring, while additional plating, heat treating, coating, and passivation are available through its supply chain.
