South Shore Chamber

The South Shore Chamber provides business advising, training, technical assistance and connections to private-sector and government resources. It supports small businesses and local business corridors, including through consultations and a partnership with the Cook County Small Business Source's network of advisors. The chamber coordinates programs with elected officials, the City of Chicago and community partners. It also supports the South Shore Quality-of-Life Plan, a community planning effort shaped by local leaders and residents, and initiatives focused on community needs. Business corridor events and efforts to attract new and diverse businesses are part of its work. The chamber is located at the Henry L. English Entrepreneurial and Business Center in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood.
