Society of Gynecologic Oncology

The Society of Gynecologic Oncology has more than 2,700 members. It is a member-built organization for gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, patient advocates, and others working to lessen the impact of gynecologic cancers. SGO provides a hub for patient care, professional education, advocacy, research, practice recommendations, continuing education, career development, and networking. Its Foundation for Women's Cancer offers information and education for patients, families, caregivers, and survivors, while supporting patient advocacy and women's health outreach. Professional development resources include journals, medical education, diagnosis and practice management materials, coding resources, and a career center. The organization is based in Chicago and serves a global gynecologic oncology community.
