Share Your Soles Foundation

Based in Chicago, Share Your Soles Foundation is a community service organization that collects and distributes new and clean, gently worn shoes. Donations support people in impoverished communities and disaster-affected areas across Central America, South America, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the United States. The organization accepts shoes through drop-off locations, while schools, businesses, churches, and philanthropic groups can host shoe drives. Drop sites accept three to five pairs at a time and do not accept used slippers. Volunteers can participate through organized opportunities, and financial contributions help sustain operations and safely deliver donated shoes to their destinations. The foundation has served Native American reservations and communities in Cameroon, Ghana, and Haiti.
