SEIU Local 73

SEIU Local 73 represents more than 37,000 workers in Illinois and Indiana. Members work primarily in public service and publicly funded positions, including school districts, municipalities, social service agencies, and other job classifications. The union provides workplace organizing support, member resources, collective bargaining agreements, and assistance with individual grievances or disciplinary and investigatory meetings through its Member Action Center. It also publishes a union member handbook and operates COPE, its political action committee. SEIU Local 73 connects workers and communities through union activities addressing employment practices, workplace rights, discrimination, racial oppression, and public policy.
