Trauma and EMDR
EMDR supports work with experiences that remain after trauma.
Psychotherapy is offered for people who grow differently, with in-person sessions in Chicago and Cudahy, Wisconsin, plus telehealth in Illinois and Wisconsin. The practice uses a grounded, relational approach informed by psychodynamic frameworks, relational therapy, EMDR, and IFS-informed parts work. Areas of focus include artists and musicians, complex trauma, EMDR, codependency, relationships, substance-related histories, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. Sessions are collaborative and center the client as the expert on their own life. The therapist has practiced at an LGBTQ health center and has worked with people affected by trauma, substance use, identity exploration, and medical decision-making. Chicago appointments are available alongside Wisconsin-based in-person care.
