PERRO

PERRO is a grassroots community organization serving Pilsen and surrounding impacted communities in Chicago. It advocates for environmental justice and community health by informing residents about pollution risks, including air, water, and land contamination. The organization works with city departments, the EPA, elected officials, and community-based organizations to develop pollution-reduction solutions and pursue cleanup of industrial pollution. PERRO also advocates for the health and safety of Pilsen residents and supports resident participation, youth leadership, and collective decision-making in environmental reform efforts. Its work focuses on making Pilsen a cleaner and healthier place to live, work, and raise families. PERRO is located in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
