About Paws Chicago Development Office

In Chicago, PAWS Chicago is an animal welfare nonprofit working with homeless pets. It offers adoption through its adoption center and events around the Chicago area, where prospective families can meet animals seeking homes. Foster parents provide pets with a temporary refuge while they await adoption. The organization also provides virtual and in-person dog training through its Lincoln Park Training Center and offers volunteer opportunities, including programs for young people. Community members can support its work through donations of supplies and fundraising activities, including marathon participation with Team PAWS Chicago. PAWS Chicago also hosts youth tours at the Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center, giving visitors a look at its work with homeless pets. Its services connect pet adoption, training, fostering, and community involvement.
