Notre Ecole de Musique

Group and individual music lessons are offered at a conservatory in Chicago. The program includes theory and solfège, chamber music, choral experience, and Dalcroze group lessons that use creative movement to develop musicianship. Individual instruction is available in piano, voice, and composition. For children ages 4 to 7, Musical Garden provides one hour of weekly group instruction; students age 7 and older can follow three four-year cycles based on exams and performances. Lessons may be offered in French upon request. Piano students learn on Steinway B Hamburg and Bösendorfer 225 concert grand pianos, and parents are encouraged to attend lessons. The school follows the French Conservatory tradition and shares its location with Fine Arts Music - Performance and Scholarship at 5036 N Lincoln Avenue, Chicago.
