MxD

A digital manufacturing and cybersecurity institute. MxD advises and convenes manufacturers, academic institutions, government stakeholders, and other partners to address industrial challenges. Its work supports digital adoption, supply chain modernization, and secure cybersecurity practices across U.S. manufacturing. MxD also provides accessible workforce learning tools, including virtual training resources and readiness guides for several manufacturing and technology fields. Members can access hands-on workshops, networking events, collaborative project opportunities, and staff-led tours of the MxD Factory Floor, where digital manufacturing technologies are demonstrated. The organization publishes cybersecurity resources, including a Cyber Resource Hub, CMMC playbook, additive manufacturing guidance, and a cybersecurity buyer's guide. MxD also presents active project solicitations, hosts events, and offers opportunities to join its manufacturing network.
