Monastery of the Holy Cross

In Chicago, the Monastery of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic Benedictine monastery of the Subiaco Cassinese Congregation. The community follows the Rule of Saint Benedict through prayer, silence, work, and hospitality. Public worship includes daily Mass and the Divine Office, sung in Latin and English, with Gregorian chant forming part of the monastery's prayer life.
