About Marwen
Marwen is a Chicago community arts nonprofit. Since 1987, it has supported young people through no-cost studio arts courses, academic mentorship, and professional development programs. Students can explore visual arts courses taught by Chicago artists, including comics, 3-D printing, filmmaking, fiber, mosaic, and toy design. Marwen also offers college-focused programming through portfolio days and college fairs, along with exhibitions and workshops. Its programs are available to young people from all 77 Chicago neighborhoods, with registration opportunities including new student open houses.
