Juvenile Protective Association

A Chicago nonprofit focused on children's mental health. Since 1901, Juvenile Protective Association has provided therapeutic counseling in and after school for children facing trauma, abuse, or neglect. Its New Light Therapy Clinic connects children, adults, and families with therapists through in-person and telehealth appointments. The organization also supports social and child welfare workers, empowers parents and caregivers, and offers guidance to teachers and school staff. JPA serves children and the adults who support them across Chicago, including more than 4,000 kids, teachers, and caretakers through its programs. Its office is at 1707 N.
