Jewish Women's Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago

Women in Medicine® is a nonprofit organization supporting women in healthcare from medical school through senior leadership. Its programs focus on developing leaders through skills, networks, and visibility; driving research on effective approaches; and strengthening healthcare systems through organizational partnerships. The organization offers community and education, leadership development, research, events, and opportunities for women and allies to connect across specialties and career stages. Its programming includes the Women in Medicine Summit, National Women in Medicine Day activities, the EmpowerHer Med Gala, and a speakers bureau. The organization also accepts donations to help keep programs accessible nationwide. Its 2026 summit and gala are scheduled in Chicago, while other activities take place online or through participating institutions and practices.
