Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art

Intuit Art Museum presents exhibitions of self-taught and outsider art in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. The museum collects and exhibits work by artists who typically work outside the mainstream, including artists who developed sustained practices without extensive formal training. Current exhibitions include Journeys of Being by Karla Wong, The Paper Craft of Henry Darger, Monumental sculpture by Dr. Charles Smith, and works from the collections of Jan Petry and Henry Darger. Intuit also hosts events such as opening receptions, curator lectures, and conversations about artist-built environments. Its learning programs include teacher fellowships, teen programming, field trips, and the Robert A. Roth Study Center.
