International Buddhism Friendship Association

The International Buddhism Friendship Association provides a Buddhist temple and meditation hall in Chicago's Chinatown. Visitors may walk in to meditate, pay respect to the Buddha, and honor Buddha and Bodhisattva altars. The association offers meditation and Dharma classes, chanting assemblies, Chinese classes, and intensive Buddhist studies for people new to Buddhism or those with established practice. Acupuncture is also available. Its expanded columbarium provides a place for families to honor and remember loved ones, while recurring Dharma study groups and other events support community participation. The organization is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt association that accepts donations through several methods. Services and activities are offered in Chicago, Illinois.
