Hispanic American Construction Industry Association

Based in Chicago, the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association is a community and industry organization focused on diversity and equity in construction. Since 1979, HACIA has supported the growth and success of diverse and small-owned businesses through advocacy, networking, and comprehensive training programs. Its work includes bringing business concerns and opportunities to state legislators, promoting equity and inclusivity, and connecting members with public and private sector leaders. HACIA also awards scholarships and program diplomas, hosts events such as the Scholars Fund Reception, and offers membership opportunities for people and organizations involved in construction. The association works with community, government, financial, and industry partners to promote opportunities for disadvantaged, minority-owned, and woman-owned firms.
