Its recipes include CaramelCrisp, CheeseCorn, Buttery and Plain, prepared with a signature blend of kernels and cooked in old-fashioned copper kettles. The popcorn is handmade, then hand scooped and precisely weighed. The recipes began with founder Gladys Otto and have been passed down through three generations. The shop also offers Frango chocolates, a brand Garrett acquired in 2010. Its origins were in a family kitchen, where popcorn was sold alongside fudge and nuts. Today, Garrett Popcorn Shops continues to make its popcorn fresh using those family recipes.
