About Forest Preserve Foundation
The Forest Preserve Foundation supports the Forest Preserves of Cook County through programs such as Forest Preserve Experience, a Conservation Corps youth program. It also raises support through community events, including the annual Conservation Cup golf outing and Jazz in the Preserves outdoor concert fundraiser. Its work connects young people and community members with the preserves through learning, volunteering, and restoration activities. Foundation stories and reports feature youth crews at work, conservation projects, and efforts to help native species thrive. The organization works in partnership with the Forest Preserves and community supporters to advance projects across Cook County. Its activities also include opportunities for people to take part in field trips and restoration work in the preserves.
