First Tee

First Tee - Greater Chicago provides golf-based youth development programs for kids and teens across the Chicago area. Its programs combine junior golf with life skills curriculum, character education, and personal growth experiences. Participants develop confidence, resilience, leadership, and other life skills that apply to school, friendships, and future careers. The organization places special focus on commitments involving goals, challenges, and positive self-identity while providing access to golf for local youth. No child is turned away because of financial barriers. First Tee also shares coaching, events, news releases, and feature stories related to its work. Its specialty is integrating golf instruction with character-building education for young people in Chicagoland.
