Daniel C Beard Elementary School

Pre-K through 3rd grade defines Daniel C. Beard Elementary School, a Chicago Public School with preschool and specialty programs. Beard offers full-day and half-day preschool, cluster programs, and a continuum of services for students. Its instructional offerings include art, physical education, counseling, and STEM, along with preschool play-based learning, small group center-based instruction, and the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach. Students have access to five outdoor playground spaces, a sensory garden, walking track, community garden, fitness center, and recess.
