About Crecer Business Incubator
Crecer Business Incubator is a small business incubator program in Chicago's Belmont Cragin community. It supports neighborhood-based businesses through education workshops, one-on-one business advising, and access to a shared pop-up retail storefront. Training covers small business essentials, while advising includes technical assistance, financial literacy, marketing, and business plan creation. Selected businesses can use a physical storefront for three months with subsidized rent, allowing them to test their business models through real-time vending. The program is operated by the Northwest Side CDC and focuses on creative click-and-mortar entrepreneurs. Its participants have included makers, food businesses, retailers, and other local ventures. Applications are offered for program cohorts, including the 2025 cohort.
