Covenant House Illinois

Residential programs provide youth ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness with a bed, meals, housing support, and help pursuing school and employment goals. Covenant House Illinois is a Chicago community organization offering a continuum of services that supports young people as they work toward independence. Its Drop-In Center welcomes youth without an appointment for meals, showers, laundry, clothing, and assistance with IDs, health care, jobs, school, and housing. Case managers help youth set goals and connect with on-site and community resources. Outreach staff work with schools, community centers, and local partners to connect young people with safe spaces and support. Workforce development includes job and education assistance, workforce training connections, and employment support.
